INTRODUCTION OF AZAD JAN JAGARAN SAMITI.
Azad Jan jagaran Samiti is a non – political, non-governmental and non-religious organization. It’s objective is to preserve and protect the rights of people and to help those who have been deprived of justice or whose voice has been suppressed.
1) Azad Jan Jagaran Samiti was established on 12th August, 2010 but it was legally recognized on 29th April, 2011 by West Bengal State Government. Since then this organization is being popularized and expanding and have been raising its voice against corruption with the help of pen and papers. This organization has even opened few centres where they provide the facility of free education to poor children, stitching training to girls who belong to poor family and free Medical treatment. Very soon these facilities will be available in many districts by our organization.
2) Azad Jan Jagaran Samiti’s main aim is to become the voice of common people, a voice that can reach to government’s ear. For this, the organization is spreading and progressively trying to form a committee at almost every state and district level.
3) Azad jan Jagaran Samiti is a disciplined Committee, where discipline is given the first priority. If any of its members violates the discipline or do not abides by the rules and regulations of the working Committee of Azad Jan Jagaran Samiti then his/her membership is cancelled and a ban is imposed on that person forever.
4) Azad jan Jagaran Samiti’s supreme administer is the “working Committee”. The decisions of working committee is final. To spread Azad Jan jagaran Samiti and to raise the voice of common people, a Committee has been formed which stands at National level, State level, District level and Block level.
And this Committee has been divided into four parts:
- ORGANISING (SANGATHAN) COMMITTEE: This committee’s responsibility is to expand and promote the organization. Their duty is to form, promote, administrate and strengthen the organization. To motive more and more people to join Azad Jan Jagaran Samiti.To infrom common people about their fights and to make them fight for their rights.
- SOCIAL (SAMAJIK) COMMITTEE: This committee’s responsibility is to help and support common and poor people. Their duties are as follows:-
(i) To give financial help in marriage of a poor girl.
(ii) To organize free Medical Checkup camp for poor people.
(iii) To provide financial help to those who can not treat their illness due to lack of money. And to distribute clothes and blankets to many homeless and needy people during winter.
(iv) To give free tuition classes and free books and copies to those poor students who can not afford these.
(v) To protest against child labour. To rescue those children who have been forced to do child labour and drop them safely to their houses or to some government organization.
3. ACTIVE (JAGRUK) COMMITTEE: This committee’s responsibility is to spread awareness among common people.
(i) To inform people about their rights and to make them understand about the utility of their rights, given to them by the Constitution of India.
(ii) To help those who have been tortured, in gaining justice.
(iii) To check the local Government officials whether they are corrupt or not. And to aware people about the right to information Act, 2005, which gives them permission to gain knowledge about any official or minister.
(iv) To aware people about their health and about the ill consequences of consuming Alcohol, Drugs and Cigarette smoking. To make people understand about killing diseases like Cancer, H.I.V. etc.
4. VIGILANCE (NIGRANI) COMMITTEE: This committee’s main responsibility is to control and check the proper, functioning of Azad Jan Jagaran Samiti. Its duty is to invigilate the working of other members. Its work is to see that no member hurts the sentiments of people or ruins the trust of people. To see that no one betrays its own nation or mars the reputation of Azad Jan Jagaran Samiti . If any of the above mentioned cases happen the vigilance committee has all the rights to punish that member. Azad Jan Jagaran Samiti removes fear from people’s heart , so that the people unite and raise voice against corruption. It’s a mere attempt from organizations side for the welfare of society.
