Why act now?

2013 is a critical year for the Indian aid program. It is an important time for us to let our political leaders know that we care about ending extreme poverty. It can be done.
Back in years, world leaders came together and made a historic agreement to overcome poverty through 8 goals:

1. Halve Extreme Poverty and Hunger
2. Primary Education for All Children
3. Promote Gender Equality and Empower Women
4. Reduce Child Deaths
5. Improve Maternal Health
6. Combat HIV/AIDs, Malaria and other diseases
7. Environmental Sustainability and Clean Water/Sanitation
8. A Global Partnership, including more and better aid

Because we believe it is possible to end extreme poverty, Azad Jan Jagaran is joining the Movement to End Poverty.
